Tapestry Stories are a beautiful way to facilitate a creative art ministry session. This 40 minute course helps walk you through the steps to prepping for, leading and facilitating a creative weaving time to help others learn to tell their stories through the lens of God's presence and grace in the good and the hard. The creative sessions usually take around 1.5-2 hrs depending on the context and the tapestries can be done almost anywhere and are mobile enough for most spaces. This training is offered as a free resource from the Created Arts Ministry Program but is designed in the context of empowering others to begin leading art ministry sessions in their communities. Please contact us for more information on further training.

Ashley Rogers is the director of Created Ministry. She studied art education at Baylor and has taught in various settings for the last 18 years. She follows Jesus as a writer, collage artist, teacher, mommy of three and wife. Created was born from a vision God placed on her heart to see people connect with the heart of God through the creative arts. She wrote "Creating with the Creator" to help others begin their own journey. Whether on podcast, to groups or through personal mentorships, she enjoys speaking and encouraging people to keep seeking as they create.
"As I have experienced freedom from perfection, my art has felt the results of it. I love mixed media, collage and acrylics. My favorite times of creating happen during worship and prophetic art- watching the Holy Spirit show up and speak in real time as my brush responds. There’s nothing like it."
